Baliola and Diskominfo Sumedang Successfully Integrate Mandala Chain Blockchain into Village E-Office System for Document Tracing and Anti-Tampering
Baliola, in collaboration with the Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) of Sumedang Regency, has successfully implemented and integrated blockchain technology into the Village E-Office system in Sumedang. This groundbreaking initiative aims to enhance administrative systems by introducing document tracing and anti-tampering features for critical documents. The results of this implementation were showcased at the Jatinangor Digital event held during Technolife Jatinangor on December 10–11, 2024.
As part of the trial, Baliola integrated Mandala Chain, a blockchain technology designed to ensure data security and integrity within the Village E-Office system. This technology allows uploaded and processed documents to be tracked and protected from unauthorized alterations, fostering trust and transparency in managing administrative records.
Additionally, Baliola collaborated with Alphasign to integrate digital certificate and signature technologies with Mandala Chain. This partnership resulted in the creation of a digital monument symbolizing the commitment to developing Jatinangor as a Digital Knowledge City. The digital monument represents a significant step toward transforming Jatinangor into a digitally-driven knowledge hub, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accountability across sectors.
The Jatinangor Digital event was attended by local officials from villages and districts within Sumedang Regency, who witnessed firsthand the implementation of this cutting-edge technology. The initiative is expected to drive positive impacts on digital transformation in local governance.
