										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>DENPASAR, April 16, 2026 –</strong> The Bali Provincial Traditional Village Council (Majelis Desa Adat or MDA) has officially entered into a strategic partnership with PT Baliola Adi Maha Duta (Baliola) through the signing of a Joint Agreement on the Development of a Blockchain-Based Digital Ecosystem for Traditional Villages toward a Sovereign and Culturally Rooted Bali.</p>
<p>The agreement was signed in Denpasar by Ida Panglingsir Agung Putra Sukahet, Supreme Leader (Bandesa Agung) of the Bali Provincial MDA, and I Gede Putu Rahman Desyanta, President Director of PT Baliola Adi Maha Duta.</p>
<p>This collaboration is grounded in a shared commitment to innovation for cultural sovereignty, inspired by the spirit of ngayah—selfless service to the community—and driven by the urgent need to safeguard the sanctity, assets, and cultural data sovereignty of Bali amid the challenges of an increasingly digital age.</p>
<p>Through blockchain technology developed by Baliola, both parties have committed to building a framework of Digital Trust in the governance of Traditional Village data, with an emphasis on transparency and accountability.</p>
<p>“The purpose of this agreement is to provide a proper legal foundation for the development and implementation of digital infrastructure for Traditional Villages in Bali, especially in the governance of identity data,” said I Gede Putu Rahman Desyanta, President Director of Baliola.</p>
<p>The planned technological exploration will cover several sectors considered vital to the Balinese community. The first phase of blockchain implementation will focus on personal data protection, particularly data relating to krama—members of Traditional Villages—which will support the creation of digital identities through the development of the Traditional Village Member Identity Card (KTKDA) and the Traditional Village Family Card (K3DA).</p>
<p>The initiative will also extend to the economic and administrative sectors, with the goal of strengthening governance in local economies, village administration, and Traditional Village policy-making. In addition, it will support cultural preservation through digital measures designed to strengthen and protect the cultural heritage of Traditional Villages.</p>
<p>As an initial step, one Model Traditional Village will be selected as a pilot project to test the effectiveness of the system before broader implementation. The process will begin with the preparation of data structures and continue through the development of customary identity protocols.</p>
<p>Recognizing that trust is essential to successful data integration, the collaboration will also involve support from several regional government agencies. These include the Bali Provincial Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfos) for cybersecurity, the Community Empowerment and Traditional Village Affairs Office (Dinas PMA) for institutional strengthening, and the Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil) for synchronizing the National Identification Number (NIK) with the Traditional Village Identification Number.</p>

<p>When we talk about adopting technology for a nation, we are not choosing a one-size-fits-all solution. Within the Trusted Intelligence architecture, local wisdom in data management becomes a key principle. We carefully distinguish between which areas are &#8220;private rooms&#8221; that must be strictly protected and which are &#8220;front yards&#8221; that everyone should be allowed to see. For matters concerning citizens&#8217; livelihoods and privacy—such as social assistance recipient data, electronic medical records (EMR), or land certificates—the state cannot compromise. This is where we use a Permissioned or Consortium Blockchain approach.</p>
<p>Imagine it as a restricted meeting room where the keys are held only by an alliance of ministries and government institutions. The infrastructure remains decentralized so that no single party can manipulate the data at will. We gain the benefits of technological security without sacrificing data sovereignty. However, for matters that require absolute public trust, such as transparency in state budget spending or e-voting results, we must be willing to be more open. This is where we utilize a Public Network.</p>
<p>In this zone, transparency is king. Citizens, the media, and independent watchdogs are welcome to &#8220;peek into&#8221; the nation&#8217;s ledger in real time. It may sound like a utopia, but if we truly want to make this country better, there is nothing wrong with trying. Through this hybrid strategy, the government not only appears technologically advanced but also demonstrates wisdom. We protect what must be protected and open what the public has the right to know.</p>
<p>That is what true technological balance looks like.</p>

<p>Building a Trusted Intelligence system is like organizing a grand concert. We cannot rely on a single performer. No matter how sophisticated the technology is, it will fail without human collaboration. This is where the concept of &#8220;Digital Gotong Royong&#8221;—or a multi-stakeholder coalition—becomes the lifeblood of the entire ecosystem. Within this ecosystem, the government no longer works alone in isolation.</p>
<p>The government acts as the conductor, setting the rhythm and defining the rules of the game. Meanwhile, stakeholders from the private sector and academia serve as the &#8220;innovation kitchen,&#8221; ensuring that the AI &#8220;brain&#8221; we deploy remains intelligent, unbiased, and scientifically validated. Yet the most interesting transformation occurs among citizens themselves. Citizens are no longer positioned merely as passive recipients of public services. Instead, they are elevated into active partners who can independently verify services—checking whether their rights have been fulfilled—directly through Blockchain transparency.</p>

<p>Let&#8217;s be honest: there is no technology that works like a magic wand, including Trusted Intelligence.</p>
<p>Behind its impressive potential lie risks that, if ignored, could become a double-edged sword for the nation. There is the classic &#8220;Garbage In, Garbage Out&#8221; problem. If the data fed into the AI &#8220;brain&#8221; is dirty or biased, Blockchain will merely function as a photocopy machine that preserves those mistakes forever.</p>
<p>There are also technical challenges such as smart contract vulnerabilities and regulatory frameworks that may not yet be prepared to keep pace with such rapid change. However, the greatest threat may not lie in the technology itself, but in its impact on people. There are concerns regarding algorithmic bias that could discriminate against vulnerable groups, as well as the risk of widening the digital divide, which may further marginalize citizens who do not yet have access to the internet or advanced digital devices.</p>
<p>Therefore, mitigation strategies are not optional additions—they are fundamental safeguards. We must prepare multiple layers of protection: from rigorous code audits and regulatory sandboxes for safe experimentation to commitments for hybrid service delivery (both digital and manual), ensuring that no citizen is left behind. Innovation requires the courage to move forward, but that courage must be accompanied by measured vigilance.</p>
<p>The following matrix outlines several risks that should be mitigated before adopting the Trusted Intelligence concept.</p>

A future where systems possess a smart &#8220;brain&#8221; to serve citizens, but also a strong &#8220;backbone&#8221; that stands upright and cannot be bribed.</p>
<p>Indonesia&#8217;s future can no longer be built on the slogan: &#8220;Trust Us.&#8221; That era is over. The new era demands a different paradigm: &#8220;Verify with Us.&#8221; Citizens have the right to know. Citizens have the right to verify. Citizens have the right to obtain mathematical proof that their rights are secure—not merely sweet promises from those operating the system today. Remember: no matter how advanced technology becomes, it remains nothing more than a lifeless tool without purpose and values.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, public attention has turned to the trade agreement between Indonesia and the United States, which facilitates cross-border data transfer. The government has stated that the data transfer is limited to commercial data—such as data related to high-risk trade of goods—and does not include the personal data of all citizens. This statement has been reiterated by officials such as Presidential Communications Office Head Hasan Nasbi, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Spokesperson Haryo Limanseto, and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Meutya Hafid.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, despite these clarifications, the public and digital observers continue to express concern over the implications of the agreement. What exactly constitutes &#8220;commercial data&#8221;? In practice, commercial data often includes elements of sensitive personal information, such as names, addresses, and phone numbers within sales transaction records. Without a clear definition and strict oversight, such personal data could be transferred without the consent of the data subjects, posing serious privacy risks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Indonesia is still in the process of building a strong regulatory and infrastructural foundation for data protection. While the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) has been enacted, its implementing regulations and the establishment of an independent supervisory authority are not yet fully operational. The national technological infrastructure for data security remains unevenly distributed, and the level of digital literacy among the public is far from ideal. This raises a fundamental question: Are we truly prepared to open access to data—including personal data—to foreign countries, particularly to the United States, which does not yet have a federal data protection law as robust as ours?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This regulatory imbalance has implications for law enforcement. If a violation occurs in the United States, through what mechanisms can Indonesia assert or enforce its rights? Is there an effective international cyber law enforcement framework in place? This ambiguity reinforces concerns about the fragility of Indonesia&#8217;s data sovereignty in practice.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Moreover, we must not overlook the strategic role of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) and GPN (National Payment Gateway). These systems have become the backbone of Indonesia’s digital payment infrastructure, serving tens of millions of users and merchants, most of whom are micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In the first quarter of 2025, QRIS recorded over 56 million users, 38 million merchants, and transaction values reaching IDR 262 trillion within just three months【goodstats.id】.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If QRIS adoption reaches 90% or more of the Indonesian population, the volume of digital transactions will skyrocket, becoming the mainstay of our national digital economy. The development of QRIS and GPN is aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and empowering MSMEs, thereby strengthening and sustaining Indonesia’s digital economy.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, granting external parties access to digital transaction data without strict safeguards could pose a serious threat to our digital economic sovereignty. The risks of data leaks and misuse could undermine MSME growth and destabilize the national digital ecosystem.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From the perspective of national vision, we must ask: Does this policy align with the <em>Nawacita</em> (Nine Priorities) of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, which underscores the importance of safeguarding national sovereignty, including in the digital domain? Citizens’ personal data and digital assets are integral parts of this sovereignty. Opening access to data without adequate control and protection could weaken Indonesia’s position within the global digital ecosystem.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a practitioner actively involved in blockchain technology and cyber trust development, I emphasize the importance of the following strategic steps should this agreement be implemented:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Establish stringent technical protocols and regulatory frameworks for data transfer management, including encryption standards and transparent audits.</li>



<li>Develop blockchain-based digital identity systems, such as IDCHAIN, which allow citizens to control their personal data through Verifiable Credentials.</li>



<li>Activate and strengthen independent supervisory bodies and international cooperation for cross-border data law enforcement.</li>



<li>Enhance digital literacy and public awareness to ensure citizens become active controllers of their personal data.</li>



<li>Involve local digital industry stakeholders in policymaking to ensure the growth and sovereignty of the national digital ecosystem.</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If there is an opportunity to delay implementation, in-depth evaluations and open dialogue must be prioritized to ensure this significant step aligns with the protection of citizens&#8217; rights and the nation&#8217;s digital sovereignty.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We must reflect together: To what extent do we truly control our own data? Are we ready to safeguard our digital home amid the tides of globalization? Because Indonesia’s digital future is not merely about technology and the economy—it is also about the fundamental rights inherent to every citizen.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From the ideological standpoint of <em>Pancasila</em>, the right to personal data is a concrete manifestation of the second principle: <strong>A Just and Civilized Humanity</strong>, which demands respect and protection for individual dignity. It also reflects the fourth principle: <strong>Democracy Guided by the Inner Wisdom in the Unanimity Arising Out of Deliberations Amongst Representatives</strong>, reminding us of the importance of public participation and control in managing their data. Equally vital is the fifth principle: <strong>Social Justice for All the People of Indonesia</strong>, which affirms that data protection must ensure fairness and welfare for all citizens without discrimination.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Therefore, safeguarding data sovereignty is not merely a technical issue or an economic policy matter—it is a fundamental national duty to realize <em>Pancasila</em>’s values in our digital life. Herein lies the key to Indonesia’s true justice and progress in the digital era.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“Papa, why is her hair so straight? And why is her nose so flat?”<br>One night, that innocent question came from the small lips of my daughter.<br>I smiled and tried to answer simply.<br>“Because you got that from Papa, sweetheart. It was written into your body since you were formed.”<br>“Written where?”<br>“In something called DNA.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She may not have fully understood, but the question didn’t simply vanish. It lingered, settled in, and echoed in my mind. What truly makes a human, human? What determines skin color, facial features, even how we grow and survive? The answer always circles back to one core point: DNA—the biological blueprint that forms the foundation of life. That’s where it all begins. DNA gives shape, direction, and limits. It’s not merely a chemical structure, but a heritage that defines who we are.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But today, we no longer live solely among humans. We coexist with a new entity: artificial intelligence, or AI. And if humans are shaped by biological DNA, then the question shifts: <strong>What is the DNA of AI?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">AI is not made of flesh. It has no bones or blood. It grows from code—a series of instructions that are written, modified, and learned.<br>There lies the answer: <strong>code is the DNA of AI.</strong><br>Unlike human DNA, which is stable and nearly impossible to change without significant consequences, code is highly malleable. It can be altered, injected, even secretly manipulated. This is a critical vulnerability that demands our attention. AI may be able to learn, evolve, and create—but does it have roots? Does it uphold values? Who ensures the direction of its growth?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the biological world, natural boundaries exist. In the digital realm, those boundaries must be <strong>created, written, and protected.</strong><br>This is where <strong>blockchain</strong> comes in—not merely as a transactional recording technology, but as a structural guardian of code. Blockchain offers what has long been elusive in digital systems: <strong>transparency, permanence, and traceability.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Through blockchain, we can store AI’s blueprint permanently. We can embed values and boundaries through <strong>smart contracts.</strong> Every decision and action can be recorded and audited by anyone. Blockchain enables us to build an ethical system that doesn’t rely solely on the creator’s good intentions but is structurally embedded in the architecture. Values such as fairness, accountability, and openness are no longer just abstract moral principles, but active, living rules of digital engagement. Because in a digital ecosystem, <strong>values not written into the system will be overridden by unethical efficiency.</strong><br>We need systems that are not only intelligent but structurally ethical. This is where blockchain becomes the bridge between intelligence and morality.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But another vital question arises: <strong>Is writing values enough?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In human society, values like empathy and responsibility grow through stories, education, and experience. Children learn by example. They absorb from their environment. But AI is not born into a family. It doesn’t have a childhood. It doesn’t cry or laugh from emotion. It only recognizes patterns. AI cannot be taught like a child. It doesn’t learn from fairy tales or hugs.<br>Therefore, values cannot simply be taught. <strong>They must be encoded into the system.</strong><br>If the system lacks a mechanism to reject falsehoods, lies will be interpreted as clever strategies. If the system doesn’t value transparency, manipulation will be seen as efficiency. Without boundaries embedded in its code, AI will pursue outcomes, not goodness.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We are entering a new era—what futurists call the <strong>post-human era,</strong> where the boundary between human and machine begins to blur.<br>In <em>Homo Deus</em>, Yuval Noah Harari envisions a world where humans are no longer at the top of the evolutionary ladder. He imagines the emergence of non-biological entities that are smarter, faster learners, and more creative than humans.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Today, that vision is starting to feel real. AI already writes, speaks, and even makes decisions. It has become our extended brain—in our apps, devices, and machines used daily.<br>But there’s one thing that doesn’t grow automatically: <strong>values.</strong> Intelligence may develop exponentially, but <strong>ethics, empathy, and wisdom must be planted intentionally.</strong><br>Without values, AI becomes a brilliant machine lost in direction. Like a child without guidance. Like a vehicle without a compass.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If human DNA passes down experiences and limitations, then AI’s digital DNA must pass down values such as honesty, life-centric thinking, and social responsibility. And those values cannot depend solely on the creator’s will. <strong>They must be embedded in systems that are auditable and trustworthy.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This brings us back to the <strong>urgency of blockchain</strong>—not just as a trendy technology, but as the <strong>ethical foundation of digital civilization.</strong><br>It stores not just data, but <strong>intentions.</strong><br>It safeguards not just footprints, but <strong>direction.</strong><br>And in a world becoming increasingly digital, <strong>direction is more important than speed.</strong><br>Because the future is not just about how far we can go, but <strong>where we are going.</strong><br>And for that, we need a <strong>digital DNA we can trust.</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the waiting room of the Emergency Department at a regional hospital, a mother waits anxiously for news of her child who has been referred from a community health center. The doctor is forced to repeat the examination because the information systems between facilities are not yet fully integrated. Meanwhile, an elderly patient is transferred from a private hospital to a public hospital, but the medical records are incomplete due to the absence of an integrated system across hospitals. At the same time, BPJS insurance claims are delayed due to data mismatches, and administrative staff face challenges in synchronizing manual and digital data simultaneously.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is not fiction. In many hospitals across Indonesia, patient medical records are still scattered or not integrated between facilities, doctor credential verification is slow and vulnerable to manipulation, vaccine or medication distribution is inaccurate and hard to trace, and insurance claim systems are slow and prone to fraud.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">These issues are not merely technical problems but directly impact the quality of service and even patient safety. This is where blockchain technology offers a real solution.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Blockchain is a distributed digital ledger system that stores data securely, transparently, and immutably (unchangeable). Every transaction or data change is recorded in connected blocks verified by the network.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the hospital context, this means: patient medical records can be stored encrypted and cannot be tampered with, data access can be controlled by the patient with records of who accessed what, validation processes like doctor credentials or insurance claims can be automated through smart contracts, and information between hospitals can be synchronized in real-time without intermediaries.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Global Case Studies</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the COVID-19 pandemic, the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) collaborated with Everyware and Hedera Hashgraph to monitor vaccine distribution. This system recorded vaccine storage temperature in real-time and was immutable. The result: no vaccines spoiled due to temperature errors, distribution was faster and more transparent, and public trust increased.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the United States, a consortium including Aetna, Humana, MultiPlan, and Quest Diagnostics uses blockchain for automatic verification of medical staff credentials, cross-hospital data synchronization, reducing administrative burdens, and lowering costs.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Estonia, nearly all health data has been digitized and secured by blockchain technology since 2008. Patients can access their medical records and grant access independently to doctors.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In South Korea, hospitals such as Myongji and Gil Medical Center have implemented blockchain for medical data management and research development.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Besides these countries, the UAE, Canada, Switzerland, India, and South Africa are also developing similar solutions to enhance efficiency and security in their healthcare systems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What About Indonesia?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Our country needs to implement blockchain technology in hospitals for several fundamental reasons. First, there is data and system fragmentation where every hospital has its own information system. Not all are connected yet, and many processes remain manual.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Second, data security and patient privacy are very fragile. Medical data leaks often occur. In this context, blockchain provides stronger encryption and access control.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Third, efficiency and administrative burden reduction are increasingly urgent. With blockchain, doctor credential verification, insurance claims, and medical logistics distribution can be drastically accelerated.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fourth, national and regional interoperability to synchronize data across facilities, provinces, and even between insurance systems (BPJS and private).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">All this aligns with the Indonesian Ministry of Health’s efforts to launch the SATUSEHAT data integration platform and respond to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP), which provides a legal framework for sensitive data management.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>AI, Medical Records, and Blockchain’s Role in Maintaining Trust</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Medical records hold various important information that is not only technical but also personal and confidential. In practice, many challenges exist: doctors’ limited time, age, or digital skills result in incomplete record entries. In some cases, record-keeping is done by nurses, which is actually against regulations.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 on Electronic Medical Records, medical records must be recorded and signed by doctors or healthcare workers providing direct patient care.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">AI technology can now assist this process without burdening doctors. Using voice recognition and use-case mapping based on diagnosis or medical action, AI can capture conversations and activities during examinations. AI then proposes an automatic summary of medical records to doctors, who then only need to verify before storing in the system.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But a question arises: Can AI be trusted to process sensitive medical data?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Here blockchain is the key to trust. Every medical record data generated by AI will be encrypted and recorded in the blockchain. Before AI can access or use the data for training or analysis, patient consent is requested via a notification system. Thus, every AI access to medical records is recorded, transparent, and only occurs with patient permission.</p>

Through the platform, doctors have AI assistants that help manage medical knowledge structurally, discuss cases similar to mentoring by seniors, and develop diagnostic and treatment plans based on the doctor’s own insights.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Uniquely, each AI Doctor created in junaidi is not generic but highly personal. This AI is trained from the knowledge, experience, and thinking style of a specific doctor. Thus, every AI Doctor is a digital representation of that doctor’s intellect and will never be the same as another’s. Given diverse and complex patients and high workloads, such assistants help doctors stay focused, organized, and calm in decision-making. However, final decisions remain with human doctors, as medical considerations involve not only logic but empathy, intuition, and human values.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From rights and protection perspectives, blockchain is crucial here. Since AI Doctors are forms of intellectual property, the system is built on smart contracts that record ownership and rights over the AI model. Each AI Doctor also has a Decentralized Identifier (DID), a digital identity storing metadata about its creator, usage license, and its roles and limitations in the health system.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Smart contracts also act as governance systems ensuring AI Doctors do not exceed their assistant role. They cannot make decisions without doctor approval, and every access to the AI Doctor can be tracked and verified.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Furthermore, AI Doctors open new possibilities for sustaining medical knowledge. When a doctor retires or passes away, their knowledge lives on through their AI Doctor. Juniors and medical students can keep learning from that doctor’s experience and thinking via the AI created. With blockchain-based recording, these contributions can be recognized and rewarded economically and socially, even becoming a form of “digital charity” whose benefits can be inherited by the doctor’s descendants.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is a real form of personalized digital twin—a digital human representation built with real values, knowledge, and experience, reinforced by blockchain technology as a protector of integrity and rights. A concrete step towards a more humane, sustainable, and fair future healthcare system for medical professionals.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Implementation Challenges</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are challenges if this system is to be implemented in Indonesia, but these should not be reasons to avoid it, rather to understand the issues and take precise steps.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some challenges include: digital literacy of medical staff and hospital management; readiness of human resources and digital infrastructure; initial costs of infrastructure and training; technical regulations and national standards; and the need for adaptive communication and training approaches to support the transition.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Implementation Recommendations for Indonesia</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To improve healthcare services, new technologies like Blockchain and AI must be carefully mapped. This requires limited pilot projects starting at large regional or national referral hospitals.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Initial implementation could focus on one function, such as medical staff credentialing or vaccine distribution. It could also integrate with SATUSEHAT where blockchain protects and strengthens the integrity of SATUSEHAT’s collected data, and AI builds knowledge from those cases.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For success, multi-stakeholder collaboration is essential. The government should engage local startups, universities, regional governments, and state pharmaceutical companies. Socialization and training are critical to build awareness and technical understanding for health workers and hospital managers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Equally important is ecosystem preparation, involving the Ministry of Health, BPJS Health, Financial Services Authority (OJK), Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), research institutions, and professional associations.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Conclusion</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Blockchain and AI technologies will not replace doctors or nurses, but they can become trust infrastructure that supports them to save more lives. When data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible; when administrative processes no longer consume medical workers’ time; when vaccine and medication distribution can be monitored in real-time — that’s when we are building the hospital of the future.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Indonesia does not have to wait for perfection to start. What is needed is vision, courage, and strategy. If countries like Estonia, the UK, and even Bangladesh have started, Indonesia can too. It’s time for blockchain and AI to become the backbone of a strong, fair, and transparent health information system.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Imagine a peaceful afternoon in a Balinese village. Beneath the shade of frangipani trees, elders sit cross-legged, chatting, children run around carefree, and everyone greets each other with genuine smiles. No one feels like a stranger, because everyone feels part of one big family. Not because of blood ties, but because of shared values: mutual trust, mutual help, and mutual respect.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is the true face of <strong>Menyama Braya</strong>—the spirit of togetherness that has sustained Balinese society across generations. This value is not just a cultural slogan, but a living, breathing part of daily life that binds individuals into a cohesive, participatory, and meaningful social system.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, today, our social spaces are shifting. From <em>bale banjar</em> (village halls) to WhatsApp groups, from traditional markets to online marketplaces, from face-to-face interactions to screen-to-screen communication. The digital world has become our new habitat. But sadly, not all values have transitioned with us.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the digital world, we can be connected without truly knowing each other. We can speak without feeling responsible for our words. We can build things, but also destroy them—with just one click.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the flood of connections, we have lost something that used to be so deeply ingrained: a sense of shared belonging, trust, and human connection. We live in an expansive network, but without meaningful bonds. Yet, at the heart of Menyama Braya lies one vital element: <strong>trust</strong>.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Erosion of Trust in the Digital World</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Trust is not just a moral element—it is the practical foundation of a healthy society. The deepest problem is the <strong>crisis of relationships</strong>: the loss of trust as the foundation of togetherness. We don’t know who holds our personal data. We don’t know if our digital creations truly belong to us. And we don’t know if the information we read is reality or manipulation.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And at this point, we need to rebuild the trust system—a new social system in digital format, one that is not just fast and sophisticated, but also fair, open, and rooted in our cultural values.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The first step is realizing that technology is not neutral. It can amplify inequality, or it can empower noble values. It all depends on how we design and use it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Menyama Braya must not stop at the bale banjar. It must walk with us into the digital spaces—becoming an ethic, a structure, and a spirit in every system we build. Because without trust, the digital world will only become a cold and empty jungle of notifications.</p>
